THE BEST GELATO I have ever had! While visiting Dallas, I frequented Paciugo multiple times. The employees I encountered were all very friendly & knowledgable on what was on the menu. I tried a couple fruity flavors & a couple chocolatey flavors. If you are visiting near a Paciugo, I would HIGHLY recommend stopping. You will not be disappointed!

I'm not a real ice cream snob as long as the place has good chocolate chip. This place has Stracciatella (Italian chocolate chip).
The serving size is a lot larger than it looks as the gelato is very rich and sweet. For me, a large bucket would be a nice size. There are other flavors than stracciatella (although I am satisfied with the one). I did sample a few of the others and they are quite delicious. The mint stracciatella and the amaretto stracciatella were quite good. I saw coconut as well as lemon.
Kids absolutely love this place as there are toys for them to play with before and after their gelato. Wait... this place has toys AND gelato? Hmmm
There is a deck out front which is a favorite spot to sit and watch the world drive by as you take time to enjoy the rich gelato. I was an antisocial snob and decided to sit inside and look out onto the world as I filled my belly with gelato. Parking is available out front as well as the parking lot next door in the bank parking which closes early. The other cool thing inside is a giant wall print of one of the Italian lakes (Como, Garda, Lugano?) which makes me want to travel back to the Italian Alps and have real Italian gelato. -

This is an amazing ice cream shop hidden behind Whole Foods and next to a gas station.
I think they rotate some of the flavors, but even their basic flavors are delicious! I personally enjoy how soft the ice cream is versus regular grocery store products.
They will give you as many samples as you would like before making your order.
I will be coming back soon to try out new flavors!
